When you purchase a product from Beautynella, payment information is processed through the payment services available through our Shopify store.

Payment providers may process the information necessary to authorize and complete card payments, verify transactions and help prevent fraud.

Where complete payment card information is collected directly and securely by the applicable payment provider, Beautynella does not need to receive or store your complete card details in order to fulfil your order.

Payment providers may process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

6. Delivery of Your Order

We share information necessary to deliver your order with the delivery provider used for your shipment.

This may include your:

  • name;
  • delivery address;
  • telephone number;
  • relevant order information; and
  • other information reasonably necessary to arrange and complete delivery.

Depending on the delivery method selected or available for your order, delivery providers may include:

  • GAP Akis Express
  • Travel Express
  • BOX NOW

These providers may process personal data as necessary to provide delivery and related services and in accordance with their respective legal obligations and privacy practices.

7. Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence

Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify provides the ecommerce infrastructure and technology that enables us to operate our online store, including services relating to our storefront, checkout, customer accounts, security and other ecommerce functionality.

As a result, Shopify collects and processes personal data when you visit, interact with or make a purchase from our store.

We have enabled Shopify Network Intelligence. When this feature is enabled, Shopify may securely use customer data from our store together with data from interactions with Shopify and other Shopify merchants to provide and improve advanced features and services (“Enhanced Services”).

These Enhanced Services may help us and Shopify provide a more customized experience, understand how customers interact with stores and services, improve products and services, perform analytics and, where permitted and subject to applicable consent requirements, provide more relevant advertising.

Information about your interactions with our store may therefore be shared with and processed by Shopify and relevant third parties in order to provide these services. Such parties may be located in countries other than Cyprus or outside the European Economic Area.

Other Shopify merchants do not receive access to Beautynella’s customer data merely because Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential processing involving cookies or similar technologies is subject to your consent.

We may send communications that are necessary in connection with your order, payment, delivery, customer account, return, refund or customer service request. These operational communications are not promotional marketing communications.

If we introduce email, SMS or other direct marketing in the future, we will update our privacy practices and this Privacy Policy as appropriate and obtain consent where required by applicable law.

10. Who We Share Personal Data With

We do not sell your personal data in the ordinary meaning of selling personal information for money.

We may disclose or make personal data available where reasonably necessary to:

  • Shopify and providers supporting our ecommerce platform;
  • payment processing providers;
  • courier and delivery providers;
  • IT, hosting and security service providers;
  • professional advisers, such as accountants, auditors or legal advisers;
  • public authorities, regulators or law enforcement authorities where required by law; and
  • other service providers necessary to operate our online business.

As described above, because Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify may also process customer data together with information from interactions with Shopify and other merchants to provide Enhanced Services.

We aim to share only personal data that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

11. International Transfers of Personal Data

Some service providers, including Shopify and its service providers, may process personal data in countries outside Cyprus or the European Economic Area.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards must be used where required under applicable data protection law.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
